PSC/CUNY – MEDGAR EVERS COLLEGE CHAPTER

LABOR MANAGEMENT MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 2012, in PRES. CONF. ROOM, 3RD fl

The meeting, chaired by Dr. Clinton Crawford, focused on the agenda which included:

1. All Funds Budget:
   
   1. Chairman Crawford again requested from President Pollard an All Funds/Line-Item budget and clarified for him the nature of such a budget.
   2. The President, through Labor Designate, Valerie Kennedy, pointed out that he was only prepared to give information regarding the Tax-levy funds and any other information needed should be sought from the Research Foundation.




2. Travel Funds:
   President Pollard assured the meeting that he would investigate complaints regarding faculty who have been denied travel funding. He also indicated his recognition of the College’s need for a uniformed travel fund policy.




3. Adjunct Faculty Accommodation:
   The President informed the meeting that the Adjunct Faculty accommodations being provided in the Carroll Street building is 95% in readiness. In a week’s time (from the time of the meeting), he would be sending out information in writing concerning this matter.




4. Senior CLT:
   Dr. Crawford pointed out the need to have the problem of Senior CLTs in relation to other CLTs be addressed. The President promised to look into the matter.




5. Overloads:
   The President will look at this issue and seek to have it as a single item on a meeting agenda.




6. Next Meeting Agenda:
   The next meeting agenda will include: Travel Policy, Adjunct Faculty Accommodation, and CLTs.




7. Adjournment:
   With no more business on the floor, the meeting stood adjourned.
