FULL-TIME FACULTY AND STAFF INFORMATION
If you are an employee of a four-year institution, changes to your health plans go into effect on January 7, 2016.
If you are an employee of a two-year institution, changes to your health plans go into effect on January 10, 2016.

BUY-OUT WAIVER OPTION
To learn more about waiving your city health benefits ($3,000 payment for employees with family coverage and $1,500 payment for those with individual coverage), click here.
- If you are already enrolled in the BUY-OUT WAIVER OPTION, you do not have to do anything. You will automatically receive the increased payment in 2016.
NEW HEALTH PLAN ADDITIONS
Metro Plus has been added as a health care provider. It can be used in one of the four boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, and Brooklyn. This plan should be available during the fall open enrollment period.
HIP/HMO will be expanding its HMO service area into New Jersey. This plan should be available as well during the fall open enrollment period.
