Our Campaigns

PSC is mounting aggressive campaigns to increase investment in CUNY, protect college access and improve pay and working conditions for our members. We’re also fighting to maintain health insurance for adjunct faculty and supporting faculty governance leaders in their efforts to maintain faculty control over the education of our students.

Chapter Activity

PSC’s 27 chapters, representing faculty and professional staff, engage members in university-wide campaigns, organize around campus issues and represent members’ interests to local administrators.

Committee Work

PSC’s committees expand the work of the union and allow members from different campuses with similar interests to work together.

Web Actions

PSC uses a number of online and social media tools to help members take action and connect with each other.

Political Action & Lobbying

Decisions made in City Hall, Albany and Washington affect every aspect of our work life, and the progress we’ve made on improving our working conditions and quality of life can only continue if we increase the PSC’s political influence.
