PSC
ENDORSES CITY
COUNCIL CANDIDATES
| The
Delegate Assembly on Thursday 14 June 2001 endorsed the list of candidates
for the City Council that have been posted to the PSC Web site. We went
through a lengthy selection process that included the Legislation
Committee, members of campus Political Action Committees, the Executive
Council and the Delegate Assembly. The candidates have promised to be
advocates for CUNY and to seek funding for the University in general, the
community colleges in particular and collective-bargaining increases.
We hope they win and want to ensure that they do. If you feel the same as we do and there is a candidate to whom you might want to give some time between now and the primary, call the PSC office and we will put you in touch, or initiate the contact yourself. If you go directly to the candidate, let the office know. |
