Guest Speaker:

Lol Fow was born and raised in New Zealand, but lives and writes in Brooklyn and teaches at BMCC. Her great love is world literature and mythology and she grabs every chance she can to bring the South Pacific into her classes. Her research concerns female-centered approaches to Joseph Campbell's hero's journey. Pai, the hero of Whale Rider, is central to that work.
