REGISTRAR SERIES
Senior Registrar, Registrar, Associate Registrar

Below are the salary schedules negotiated under the present union contract for the instructor series in the PSC’s bargaining unit.    

The first column (10/31/02) reflects the salary steps on the last day of the previous contract; the following columns reflect the increases to the salary steps under the present agreement.  The last column (9/19/07) represents the present salary.

The annual increments (steps) for all positions on the instructional staff are added added on January first of each succeeding year, except that in the community colleges, the annual increments for positions are added on January first or September first of each succeeding year following at least ten months of service.

Article 24.2 a.  The last two steps on the salary schedules for employees in the titles...Registrar series...are an exception [to the annual step increases]....  The penultimate step on the salary schedules for these employees, designated in the schedule by bold print and an asterisk, is known as the "five-year step."  Employees in the titles listed above shall be eligible to receive the "five-year step" not later than upon completion of five years of service at the preceding step, known as the "last one-year step."  Following the "five-year step" in the salary schedules for employees in the titles listed above is the "seven-year step," designated in the salary schedules by bold print and two asterisks.  Employees in the titles listed above shall be eligible to receive the "seven-year step" not later than upon completion of two years of service at the five-year step.
