On May 1, the international workers’ holiday, working people across the country are rallying in solidarity with the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), the West Coast dockworkers’ union. It is taking the historic action of shutting down the ports on the West Coast for one day to demand an end to the war. In solidarity with the ILWU West Coast dockworkers, many unions and labor federations and councils in the U.S. and Europe have organized support. The Peace and Justice Committee of the PSC is sponsoring anti-war events and tabling on 11 CUNY campuses:
